How Businesses Opt In
Business owners and staff receive SMS alerts for new bookings, missed calls, review activity, and handoff requests via UpMySalon.
Opt-in occurs when a business owner checks the SMS consent option during account setup or activation. By opting in, the owner agrees to receive transactional SMS notifications related to their UpMySalon account.
How Customers Opt In
When a customer contacts or visits a business served by UpMySalon, the business (through UpMySalon) may send review requests, booking confirmations, or follow-up links by SMS.
By verbally agreeing, providing their phone number during a call or booking interaction, or otherwise consenting at the point of service, the customer consents to receive SMS from that business via UpMySalon.
